DARK Shade is best suited for those with fairer to olive skin and will provide a subtle glow to the skin. For those with a more tanned, darker or olive skin tone, we'd recommend going for our EXTRA DARK versions of our self tan mousse. If you have more of a fairer complex, then try our MEDIUM shade first.

Use this product all over the body, for best results, use a Mitt to apply the mousse foam, starting from your feet and working your way up to your arms, chest and back.

How Does MANTAN Work?

All fake tan products contain an ingredient called Dihydroxyacetone or DHA, it is this organic active ingredient which interacts with amino acids in dead skin cells and darkens their appearance, giving the impression of a natural sun tan.

DHA is a type of carbohydrate and is derived from plant sources such as sugar canes as well as by fermenting glycerin. The more DHA added to a product, the darker the skin reaction takes. It is perfectly safe and harmless to humans and animals.

How To Apply

1. Like a boss, give the bottle a proper shake for a least 20 seconds, press a few pumps onto a ’MANMITT‘ and apply in sweeping upward motions, starting from your legs upwards, chest, arms and back.
2. Apply any residual tan left on the mitt to hands and feet. The mousse on your body at this point is just the guide colour so you can see if you’ve missed any bits and will wash off when you shower later.
3. Wait about 5 minutes until your skin is touch dry before getting dressed and then allow the tan to develop into the skin for the next 4 - 8 hours. The longer you leave the tan on, the deeper the colour.
4. When you’re ready, jump in the shower and rinse off the guide colour to reveal a natural looking, streak free tan. Any residual tan left on fingers and hands can be removed using our ‘Tan Remover’ cleanser mousse.
5. Use our daily use moisturiser ‘Bronzer Bro’ with tan enhancer, this will keep the skin moisturised and will keep your tan looking fresh for longer.
