Selling my Prototype Valve Cover Topper.

I make Prototypes before deciding how or what design I want to make for my own vehicles and/or to sell.

This unit is 1 of 1, totally unique and not planning on duplicating.

Made from 6061-T6 Aluminum.

Welded, machined, sanded and shaped by hand. Not CNC, No program saved.

2 studs hold it to a Stock Pre- '54 style valve cover.

No two original Chevrolet stamped steel valve covers are exactly the same, especially after 6+ decades of use.

This Topper was shaped to fit the cover seen in the pics.

You may need to do a little massaging of your cover. Take out the dents, strip off the finish to raw steel, clean it real good for primer and paint.

Before painting your cover make sure to test fit the Topper. Fits my valve cover nicely but like I said, no 2 valve covers are exactly the same. File, Sand, Fit it or leave it the way it is.

Once you have it fitted the Topper then prime and paint your valve cover.

* Do not over tighten retainer Nuts. Never try to pull cover tight over a bad fit. You'll either end up with an oil leak or tweak the cover and possibly crack it over time.

Fitting is a job for patient, skilled mechanics, Not Gorillas. 🤣🦧🤣

Sorry for the Book.

Always ask if you have a question. I've been fabricating and customizing for decades (70's) so I can and will give you install tips.
