This is the 1st half of the top 80 Year End Countdown featuring the

the top 80 hits of 1972. In other words #80 thru #41.

Condition

VINYL: EX+ to NM I played 100% of all 6 sides to grade it. 5 out of the 6 sides are NM or at the worst EX+. 

The only side that had a noticeable defect was 3A on "Rockin Robin" there is a small, visible, blemish that caused 

4 or 5 light to very light ticks. I'd grade that side a strong EX. 

THE BOX: I'm not grading the box because the original box had 2 corners very obviously split & the top and bottom were not attached. I found a classical box set that was the same size & that was in very good shape. The only difference was one edge had the classical albums name on it in white. I colored that in with black marker.(see pix) If you hold it at an angle you can still see there was writing underneath . I cut off the top of the original Top 40 box and strongly/permanently glued it (with wood glue) to the the top of the other box. I'm quite please how it came out. I'm sure most people would not even notice the repairs unless they looked closely.

CUE SHEET: It includes the the 6 page cue sheet in great condition.

I put additional rounded poly inner sleeves inside the original generic inner sleeves.

THIS WILL BE VERY WELL PACKED 

Just a side note this vinyl is the opposite of "deep groove". The grooves are very superficial so the tiniest bit of stray grit can cause more sound defects than deeper groove pressings. On the other hand the grit is easier to get off as it doesn't get stuck in the deeper groves.
