A lovely Antique French quilt fragment dating c1870. One side is a wonderful, early Art Nouveau design and the other is a chimney sweep floral, called this because it was designed to hide dirt with the ground tone! There is a cotton batting between the layers. A lovely textile for making pillows OR for unstitching the quilting and getting the two fabrics for many projects! ~*~
