One of the most beautiful & certainly one of the largest original vintage spider brooches you will ever find on eBay, you will expect this to crawl over your shoulder. The workmanship is sublime, a large 5.8cm (2.2") early, possibly British example of a later & much smaller USA produced brooch.The box in the photos is not included.

A rare, original, & heartbreakingly beautiful vintage silver brooch (tested not stamped), not a nasty modern reproduction masquerading as vintage, unsure as to age, but probably no older than the 1950s.

The gorgeous tactile spider legs are roughly 3cms long & stand 1.2cm ( .5") deep, the glossy malachite cabochon has a rub over setting being given a pie-crust finish, the pin is lovely & tight with roll over safety clasp & it measures exactly 5.8cm (2.2") in length & 5cm (2") across the deepest point. .

This is fit for the serious Deco / Retro jewellery collector, not sure if the pin is silver (they rarely are being that silver is too soft) . This looks simply astonishing when worn, will be shipped in a box.
