Gorgeous yellow,  lined Travilla skirt suit in size 14.

With a 2 button fastening on the jacket, elastic on the back , an adjustable belt, it has a very flattering fit.

It has been dry-cleaned and ready for new owner.

Suit is in perfect vintage condition. Both the skirt and jacket are lined. Will suit 12 - 14 uk size.

William Travilla, known simply Travilla, was  born on March 22, 1920. Multiple Oscar and Emmy nominee and one-time Academy Award  winner for the Adventures of Don Juan. Travilla is probably best known for dressing Marilyn Monroe.  He designed  the iconic  white dress in Seven Year Itch as well as  the costumes for Gentlemen Prefer Blondes and How To Marry A Millionaire.

He also designed costumes for Valley of The Dolls. Thorn Birds and  won his last Emmy in 1985 for the television series Knots Landing. He designed uniforms for United Airlines and Frontier Airlines that were noted for their comfort and stylish designs.
