This device allows you to use a separate battery supply to drive the servos. Because large servos like the BP666 and BP777 draw so much current they can damage the receiver. The PD-2 eliminates overloading the receiver output by using a separate battery supply to power the servos.

Be sure to observe the correct polarity when connecting receiver and servos to the PD-2

Be aware of the voltage drop when using long servo extension wires.
