Pink Peppercorns Pink Pepper 20g(0.7oz)-1.9kg(4.2lb) Schinus Terebinthifolius

Origin: Brazil

Pink pepper is not pepper. Essentially, it does not belong to the family of "true" peppers, i.e. the fruits of Piper nigrum or black pepper. On the contrary, it comes from the fruits of a shinus (Schinus terebinthifolius).

The seeds of the pink pepper, or Brazilian pepper, from where it is recorded, have a red flesh and a casing that crushes very easily, revealing a small, black seed. For this reason, they are put in the spice mill together with the hardest black and green peppers,

How to use it: It has a lighter flavor than other peppers. It can be used in many recipes, such as beef fillets, game, marinated fish and poultry. A very good suggestion is to put it in marinades and white sauces, but also in salads. You put it on fresh white cheeses and it goes in at the end of cooking.
