Summary: Also ordered rear wheel and tire for same project (persuit plane) The flat rubber tire that was provided for same rear wheel was 2" short of fitting wheel. I have done many restorations and putting on tire and techniques involved are not new to me. It was simple the wrong tire.I have round bulk rubber so i just made another that fit correctly. I would have just let it go --but since you asked,

Summary: got this tire hoping to fit my Parsons Irish Mail. it fit nice after heating it up and stretching it. wheel was a little bit bigger then 8 inches.
