This is an old antique Art Nouveau silverplate ornate swinging handle pierced basket from old estate. It is 7 1/2" tall or 14" with handle up by 7" wide by 11" across. Has makers name on bottom that looks like Cox possibly. See photo. Weighs a little over 2 pounds. In very nice condition with old tarnish some folks love. Thanks for looking.
