"Gear Design Simplified", by Franklin D. Jones.  Copyrights 1937, 1940, The Industrial Press, New York.  They published the work.  Stated Second Edition.  Not Ex-Library.  No ISBN - there were none in those years.  Note - the photos you see are of this volume - no 'Stock Photos'.

This is the volume which would have been used by the U. S. Military during and immediately after World War II to train personnel in Gear design, manufacturing and repair.  A splendid volume for the building designer, architect, electrician, repair person.  Very well illustrated.   Quite uncommon today. 

clean volume in Good interiors and Fair boards, Deep blue/multicolor blue-lettered/multicolor decorated hard boards, 11 1/4" x 8 3/4" x 139 clean thick tight pages of remarkable information for the Great Depression and World War II - era manufacturer or service person.         

Found in a Northern Ohio family farmhouse library - 150 years and more of books and paper there - they loved their books.  This was in their well-equipped shop.  We gathered eight pickup truckloads from that library - bringing all of it to you via eBay now.

Moderate wear to the extremities, with wearthrough at the corners, after 3/4 Century and more.  No looseness, No dogears, No mustiness, No smoke smell.  We do try to describe them correctly - we want you back - hundreds of repeat customers. 

A name ffep, a name obliteration front endpage, a World War II-era company name neatly stamped, back endpage.  No other markings. No dogears, No Bookplates, NOT Ex-Library, NOT Remainder-marked.  Don't let this one get by you - this is a marvelous find.
