Vintage National Geographic Magazine 1957 Set.

    The first issue is "National Geographic Magazine" May 1957. Feature stories on Jamestown, the Mayflower, Balearics, The Wichitas the living Prairie, Gulf Shrimpers and more. 179 pages. Upper corner of cover has a small price label otherwise new condition. All pages tight, clean and odor free. 

   The second issue is "National Geographic Magazine" July 1957. Small price label on the cover, slight wear to the spine, all pages tight and clean. Feature stories on the South Pole, New Mexico's White Sands, Katmandu and flight across Africa and Asia with Lowell Thomas, Jr. 152 pages.

   The third issue is October 1957. Feature stories on Scottish Shrines, Elephants, Gypsy Cave Dwellers, Flamingos and more.  Contents: Poets' Voices Linger in Scottish Shrines, The Elephant and I, Beauty and Bounty of Southern State Trees, Ballerinas in Pink, Gypsy Cave Dwellers in Andalusia, and The National Geographic Society and Its Magazine: A History. Coke ad on back cover. Note writing and ink circle on the cover, the interior seems to be free of markings but does have some creases where pages had corners turned down. Otherwise all pages tight and odor free. A good- condition magazine.

 A beautiful highly recommended magazine. Lots of vintage ads for Coca Cola, cameras, automobiles, travel by plane, train and ship, a beautiful full page full color ad for the Ford V 8 1956 car and more.
