A beautiful and quite unusually hued opal. A Semi-black solid opal with a pale blue to lavender base with red, blue, green and gold fire. Surrounding this opal are dozens of faceted white topazes that wink and playfully flirt with the light.
The stone is a solid so light will pass through, and the 'tone' of the opal depends on the backdrop behind it. On a fair/white hand, the opal appears light to pale blue and on a darker skin tone, it reads more of a purplish and more vivid blue. The setting is solid sterling silver 925 and is built for extreme comfort so can easily be worn all day long.
The frame is a halo style with a 'easy on the eyes' scalloped edging. The opal is raised a few mm with a light-passing through cage to allow as much light as possible to touch the gemstone.
