I will professionally repair your battery , select paired cells, spotweld the batterypack ,clean your container (**), assemble and perform a final test. Most likely I can ship in approx. 3 working days after I have received your depleted battery (***) . The replacement is a bit of precision work because of the tight fit of the 8 cells in the metal housing, but your spare fuse holder will be accessible as it used to be and the original rollei temperature sensors(NTC) are re-used (for Rolleiflex N charger ) .

(*)The performance of your PQS capable cameras like the 6001 6008p/i 6008AF as well as the Lens Control S will benefit from the high current capability of this battery replacement . The original 600mAh Sanyo Cadnica cells were capable of delivering high currents, due to their typical very low impedance of 9 mΩ/1000Hz . The Battery indicators in the Rolleiflex 6000x cameras are designed to sample battery health based on this specification. Most NiMh batteries are typical 40mΩ/1000Hz or more, puzzeling your battery indicator that will indicate  battery half/recharge very soon , which leaves you in the dark about how many photos can be made .  Also the PQS lens requires quite some extra power to perform and could get a bit sloppy at higher F-stops if operated with high impedance cells. My offered batteries have a typical impedance of 10mΩ/1000Hz, compatible to the original cadnicas , but of course have 2.5x more endurance .

(**) Please only send batteries not having corroded housing by cell leakage or dents etc. Shipping to The Netherlands for repair is on buyers expense and risk . I will give you notice as soon as the batteries have arrived and keep you informed during progress .

(***) Your battery will most likely be shipped in four working days. The start of the work of course depends on my receive of your battery . For ebay I had to put in some duration time after payment , to avoid having the ebay system starting to send messages I have put in there 30 days...please ignore this , the shipment of your repaired battery will start much much earlier .

3 years if you use the Rolleiflex D charger or my upgraded charger.
2 years if you use the Rolleiflex charger Rolleiflex Charger C.

!! I cannot give any guarantee if , against my advice, a Rolleiflex charger G or M or an unknown brand / type of charger is used .

To effectuate the warranty, please send me a photo after receipt of your battery showing both the label of the (repaired) battery and the label on the bottom of your charger (as in fig 6)

Some advice on charging your 1600 mAh NiMh converted Rolleiflex battery :

The best way to charge ...My redesigned Rolleiflex 6000 NiMh / Nicad rapid charger . These chargers are a perfect match to charge both Rolleiflex classic Nicad  and rebuild NiMh battery packs up to full capacity and then switch to trickle maintenance charge . This is a safe charger for your valued Rollei 6000 batteries . The design tunes charge load according to the load acceptance of your battery , which results limited heat up while charging . The lifespan of the NiMh battery will benefit from a max. charging temp. below 45degr. C, this charger keeps the temp. well below this value .I give you a 3 year guarantee on the repaired battery if you use this custom charger .

I can offer to rebuild your classic (defective) NiCd Rolleiflex 6000 Chargers G or M to match the NiMh technology batteries. All electronics will be replaced . Please keep in mind that these charger upgrade sells fast locally as well as via ebay. there will be additional offers in future, but I need to prepare the internal circuits first . Rolleiflex Charger D . This charger is NiMh compatible , will charge these 1600mAh to full capacity .

Rolleiflex Charger C . according to Rolleiflex(usa) this charger is NiMh compatible . I tested the C charger will charge the 1600 mAh NiMh without overheating , not full 100% (pack voltage 11,2V in stead of 11,6V after completion) , but you will have plenty power .

Rolleiflex Charger N can be used ,but it is not the best way to maintain your NiMh battery . The Rolleifllex N charger is not designed for NiMh and to complete the full capacity of this 1.6Ah pack it probably needs a restart after the Rollei N specific 1 hour 1Amp cycle (not recommended). If the battery nears the topped up charge, the Rolleiflex N will heat up your battery up quite quickly . by design the Rolleiflex N switch off at limited temp. of approx 54 degr C of the cells, on hot summer days you can encounter this temp.cut-off more often . This temperature is approx 10degrC over the specific max. NiMh quick charge temp , most this will shorten the lifespan of your NiMh battery .

CAUTION : PLEASE DON'T USE THE OLDER ROLLEIFLEX CHARGER G ( from the SLX/6006 era ) to charge any NiMh retrofit batteries.

CAUTION  : PLEASE PLEASE DON'T USE ROLLEIFLEX CHARGER M !! This is a weird design....Fuse , Transformer,rectifier,lightbulb,1 resistor  ~:0[ that's it)  It has no controlled charge time nor temp. control. Without question the charger Rolleiflex M will kill any battery in short time .
