Item: Vintage Fisher X-100-C 10 Tube Amp With Wood Case Untested For Parts Or Restore

Seller notes: unit features 6 12ax7 tubes (various brands and non matched , 1 is a 5751 which is the equivalent of a 12ax7) and 4 7868 tubes (closely matched values). I purchased this about 8 months ago with the intention of restoring but have decided to let it go for someone else, when I first bought the unit one of the 7868 tubes were bad so I went ahead and purchased a vintage matching set of 4 from a friend for $200 because I was told you want those tubes to match. When trying to power up the unit for the first time after replacing those 4 tubes I got nothing . Upon taking the unit apart to inspect I found nothing visually wrong with anything besides the volume pot being broken , which is most likely for the reason for the unit not being functional. I was able to find a replacement pot for this unit for $100 on eBay but have decided not to make the jump in purchasing for now. No further testing beyond this has been done. Unit is very clean overall and is an excellent candidate for restoration. (See photos for condition)
