Hardbound copy of a VERY rare book called Detroit Rocks! a Pictorial History of MotorCity Rock’n’Roll Products 1965 to 1975 written by famed artists Gary Grimshaw and Leni Sinclair.   

Out of print and very hard to find, especially in this hardbound edition!  

This copy is signed by both Grimshaw and Sinclair and is numbered #55.  

The run of hardbound books was limited to 350 copies and from what I understand,  were only distributed to people instrumental in getting the book published.   

The gentleman whose estate I purchased this from is acknowledged in 2 places in the book that I have been able to find, so it seems that that might be true.      

Gary Grimshaw was a well know rock and roll poster artist and Leni Sinclair a rock and roll photographer.   

Together they have created a book on the history of rock and roll in the era of bands like the MC5 and venues like the iconic Grande Ballroom! 

122 glossy pages with LOTS of great pictures!
