In full calf leather fine bindings, with decorative gilt panelled boards with crests to front and rear boards “A Deo Et Rege.” Raised banding and full gilt decorations to spines, with maroon and black leather spine labels.
Full gilt page edges.

In very good condition.
Earlier repairs to bindings, all volumes rebacked and relaid on spines.
Later endpapers in vol.3.
Cloth reinforced inner hinges, in vols except v.3.
Covers heavily rubbed, corners bumped and chipped.
Inscriptions and mongram bookplates to endpapers “Lady Fleming” (and later inscription in vol.3. “Lady Harewood.”)
Title pages a little tanned.
Some occasional handling marks and minor foxing spots.
Minor water stains to inner edges of plates in vol.3, (does not effect print).
Else a very good set.
