La ginocchiera Scarabeo è costruita attorno al protettore Pro-Shape Scarabeo, ispirato alle geometrie dei materiali auxetici presenti in natura che, a seguito di un impatto o una sollecitazione, si espandono contemporaneamente in tutte le direzioni, aumentando l’area di copertura. La struttura del protettore permette la massima flessibilità e adattabilità a tutte le posizioni del ginocchio, seguendo i movimenti del giovane rider, dalla pedalata alla discesa. Pro-Shape Scarabeo assorbe l’83% della forza di un impatto, non trasferendo sul ginocchio l’energia dell’urto. La superficie del protettore è aperta sul 55% della sua area, consentendo, assieme al tessuto elastico altamente traspirante, grandissima ventilazione e uno scambio termico ottimale, anche durante le giornate più calde.

The Dainese Scarabeo line puts the technologies developed by the great MTB champions, used in world competitions, at the disposal of the smallest riders. All the safety of professionals, designed to protect tomorrow's athletes. The Scarabeo knee guard is built around the Pro-Shape Scarabeo protector, inspired by the geometries of auxetic materials found in nature which, following an impact or stress, expand simultaneously in all directions, increasing the coverage area. The structure of the protector allows maximum flexibility and adaptability to all knee positions, following the movements of the young rider, from pedaling to descending. Pro-Shape Scarabeo absorbs 83% of the force of an impact, not transferring the impact energy to the knee. The surface of the protector is open on 55% of its area, allowing, together with the highly breathable elastic fabric, great ventilation and optimal heat exchange, even during the hottest days.
