Very scarce work of 1587, one of the first almanachs based on Gregorian Calendar written by Giovanni Niccolò Doglioni (1548-1629) italian amathematician and notary.
Doglioni was author of different works of cosmography and chronology connected to the reformation of calendar of Gregorio XIII.
Inside different notions of cosmography and astronomy: World and its division, winds, movement of sky, twelve signs of zodiac, movmeent of celestial bodies, Eternity, Meridiana, Calende none, seasons, Calendar and places of sun, Feasts of Saints, marea la luna e segni dello zodiaco ecc...
Different engravings as an astronomer, wind rose, solar watch, some little engravinsg one for each month.
A part dedicated to the fabrication of solar sun with engravings one of them is mobile.

Carton cover with handwritten title in good conditions lightly worn in the extremities. Binding almost lacks. Pages in good conditions with occasional foxing. Application i the title page with handwritten notes. Little wormings in the folding edge with no loss of text. Horizontal tear in page +4. In 8. cm 19,5x14. Pp. (4)+49+(3)
