The individual colors on the scale indicate:
Blue: Blue coats - varnish thin coats (clear coats without foundation or repeated polishing) with a thickness of 0 to 100 microns.
Green: The original varnish has a coat thickness of 100-200 microns, warning; on newer models, a thickness of 180 microns may indicate a thin second coat of varnish.
Yellow: The yellow scale indicates a coating thickness of 200 to 300 microns - after painting ("second coat").
Red: Coating thickness of 300 to 520 microns - the surface behind the metal plate + a second coat of varnish.
Black: Coating thickness over 520 microns - surface putty and varnish (putty amount about 0.5mm).
