Pair of early antique leather western roping cuffs that tell the story of an American cowboy in the late 19th early 20th Century.

This is western American folk art at its finest.

This set of cuffs has been tooled/stamped by hand and would be a valuable addition to any cowboy collection. Leather wrist cuffs were traditionally worn by cowboys to protect the wrist area while working. Fancy pairs were also often worn by Wild West Show performers.

APPROX AGE: Circa late 1800s to early 1900s

SIZE:

Tall: approx 6.5 inches

Smaller opening: approx 2 inches

Larger opening: approx 5 inches

Leather is on the stiffer side as these were working cuffs and are 120 years old. Lots of character and history.
