This is a finely illustrated and well produced cigar card featuring action at Hart's Hill  in South Africa during the Battle of Colenso in 1900 during which troops from the 27th Royal Inniskilling Fusiliers were engaged in Victoria Cross winning action.

The reverse side provides further details of this action and the awarding of the VC to Lieutenant Edgar Inkson of the Royal Army Medical Corp's who was serving with the Inniskillings.

Issued in 1980, this card measures 9 x 5 cm.

In excellent condition.
