DESCRIPTION:

This listing is for (ONE) 1930's era original woodcut / woodblock print of a dancing couple (untitled and unsigned) by American artist Douglas Hall. Available in a visible fiber "rice paper". I have several of his works listed, some signed and dated (early 1930's).

I acquired a collection of 50 distinct woodcut / woodblock prints by the WPA / New Deal era American artist Douglas Hall (born 1885 - died ??). Very little is available online about the artist except that he lived/worked in Illinois and Michigan. One of his signed prints, "Jack & Jinny" is in the collection of the University of Michigan Museum of Art (my group also includes a signed "Jack & Jinny" woodcut).  Many of the prints in my collection are signed and there are between one and several copies of most of them. I also retain several of the original woodcut blocks.
