Here is an authentic hand painted papier mache bottle stopper/pourer probably made in France. It depicts a policeman and measures approximately 5-1/4 inches tall. It is in overall very good condition, with some expected wear and original patina. The photos show the main areas where there is paint loss, soiling, and other signs of gentle wear. The pourer goes through the cork and comes out on top of the hat. The back of the head appears say something, I think it is the work Patent.

Important Shipping information: We ship via priority mail and use priority mail boxes. We package in the highest grade materials including new, previously unused bubble wrap and styrofoam peanuts. We include Insurance in the shipping estimate. If we have a brown box that the item will fit into, we will ship via parcel post or first class mail if you ask. We understand that shipping costs can be expensive. We do our best to minimize the cost but if you email us before bidding or paying, we will do whatever we can to work with you.
Insurance is included in shipping cost.
Payment is expected within 3 days of close of auction. Shipments are generally made within 2 days of receipt of payment.
