1949 Bendix Aviation Corporation model 55P3 radio in a beautiful Bakelite swirled case. It has a striking maroon dial and a rust colored perforated grille with the Bendix logo on the front. The case has no cracks, chips or hairline cracks. This radio shows influences of a Raymond Loewy design with its smooth flowing lines and classic design. The chassis loads from the bottom, and the complete label is still present. About 11-1/2"W x 7-1/2"H x 7"D.
