This advertising page was by the Polaroid Corporation for their new instant print camera. Edwin Land was the inventor and the early cameras were named after him.
The ad has a small drawing of the #95 model camera. This was Polaroid’s first production model. The larger photo shows dad opening the back of the camera to get the photograph out. The other image is a ¾ actual size print.
Ad text starts “What a thrill to see Christmas pictures a minute after you snap them!” and goes on about the camera.
This ad is full page, 7” x 10”, carefully removed from an actual 1949 magazine.
