Polini carburetor 201.2400 The new CP Polini Evolution Ø24 carburettor, specifically designed to make the most of the power of racing engines, is able to give maximum performance from 12,000 to 15,000 rpm. The main feature lies in the processing done by the numerical control machines of the intake duct which exploits the gas passage speed to the maximum. The coupling to the manifold is Ø28.5: this feature allows you to mount a specific manifold that is able to make the most of the greater air flow given by the CP Polini Evolution Ø24 carburettor. A flange is supplied with the carburettor to adapt the Polini Evolution filter. The very short intake duct stands out for its exclusive concentric design and for its geometry capable of optimizing the air flows in the gas transit phase. The passage of the petrol in the atomizer is made in such a way as to guarantee correct dynamics of the flows at each opening position of the throttle. The petrol inlet hole and the larger needle allow constant draft even in the most extreme conditions of use. The level of the float, completely made of plastic, and the seal of the needle are carefully checked in production to ensure the same standard of efficiency over time. These features make it possible to significantly simplify the setting up of the carburetor calibration. Thanks to the extremely refined calibration scheme, the petrol air, maximum jet and minimum jet flows have been designed to have maximum efficiency with lower consumption. The compact dimensions of the new carburettor required careful and meticulous management of the internal space and the maximum efficiency of all the components, subjected to strict precision controls.
