Lot of six (6) antique pieces of Roseville Pottery yellow ware with a Dutch / Holland theme. Each mug has a Dutch boy on one side an Dutch girl on the other side, both in traditional costume. From what I've read these date to at least prior to 1916 and were created as a promotional campaign for a beer event and included both mugs and matching pitchers. This set has three different shapes. They all measure around 4" tall. Condition is very good overall with light crazing on some and heavy crazing on others. One shallow chip to the inside of one mug only, (see photo #5 below, the rest of the mugs are free of damage. I found these in the garage at a Los Angeles estate sale, along with other marked pieces of Roseville yellow ware, (mixing bowls, etc.), from the same period.
