This was a US soldier's PlayStation 2, bought in Iraq in 2005.  It played the $1 - $2 games & discs that were sold in the Iraqi Marketplace (Bazaar).  It is unknown if it still plays burned, re-written discs but we're sure a clever person can figure it out.
