VTG Spanish Flamenco Style Dancer Doll 13" Red Dress with Black Lace Trim & Veil, good for Christmas

Photos are actual item. See photos for condition. Measurements are approximate.

From Mom's storage. One of we don't know how many dolls.

In my opinion, the necklace isn't as green as the leaves of the roses and has blue undertones in some lighting.

Update 12/08/23:

There are no markings on the box or the doll to tell me what the proper age range is, what it's made of, or where it was made.

Doll construction: The doll has a soft body with what might be porcelain head, hands/forearms, and feet/shins. Without any paperwork or printing on the box, I can't be 100%. But I would say that she could break under the right conditions (hence, no small children). Older teens & up who would treat the doll as a collectible instead of a toy.

Doll articulation: The arms and legs do move due to having soft-bodied torso/partial limbs but have limited range of motion. The head does not move.

Dress removal: As for the dress coming off, not easily. It looks like during assembly, they put the dress on the doll but then proceeded to wrap the shawl/collar around her neck and sew it to the front of the dress instead of using a button or tie closure. So you'd probably have to break the stitch to get that off before you could take off the dress.

Dress material: I would guess polyester/synthetic. But it is stiff in the style of taffeta.

FYI Mom never displayed her dolls. Like this doll, we don't know the history of most of them.

Non-smoking, pet-friendly home.
