Beutler ha ideato dei motivi originali per gli origami che ha poi usato per decorare la sua illy Art Collection. Un originale ritorno alla bidimensionalita', comune al foglio di carta, come alla superficie del piattino e della tazzina stessa. Fissandosi cosi' in un gioco di gesti e tradizioni, di pause e di incontri, di immagini catturate dal tempo, ma decisamente pronte ad andare ben oltre lo spazio.

The artist is inspired by the ancient art of origami: in Japanese literally "folding the paper": a fascinating technique that consists in giving life to various three -dimensional objects thin sheets of paper. Beutler has conceived original reasons for the origami that he then used to decorate his Illy Art Collection. An original return to the two -dimensionality, common to the sheet of paper, as to the surface of the saucer and cup itself. Thus fixing himself in a game of gestures and traditions, of pauses and meetings, of images captured by time, but definitely ready to go far beyond the space.
