Norwegian Andersen Pewter Vase, marked to base bird in circle BM Norway.  15.5 cm tall, top diameter 6.5 cm.  The base diameter is 6 cm approx.  I am puzzled about markings or a repair to the base, there is some messy finished work there, please see pictures.  Without the metal residue, I would think this to be a candlestick if used upside down.  The markings are in the candle well.
