Scarce work of astronomy of 1564 written by Sebastianus Theodoricus (1521-1574) teacher of mathematics and medicine in the University of Wittenberg.
Theodoricus substained the importance of autopsies for educational aim and of arythmetics, which was very useful for daily action from the management of family to commercial transactions, to calculation of movements of celestial bodies and calendar, to indicate areas and distances in geography.
Passionate of astronomy, he read about geometry and astronomy after Euclide and Claudio Tolomeo.
This work, in form of question and answer, was for the usage of students.
Engraving of armillar sphere in the title page, different woodcuts and three folded charts (one about climate).
Antique signature in the title page and notes in the text.
