Beautifully painted & a desirable subject the portrait of this Nun is titled to rear, the writing being C Franchi Cappelli, Fece Llano 1885 Italia Firenze
Translation in English being C Franchi Cappelli, Made Llano 1885 Italy Florence.
Provenance the painting came from a deceased estate in France along with the painting of two monks I have separately listed & the two holy water crucifixion fonts separately listed.
Condition the painting viewing aperture is fabulous for age, Frame is solid no losses repainted, the outer non viewable area of painting when out of frame shows rub marks & paint loss around the edges from the frame inner rubbing. Non detrimental & can't be seen when in the frame & we have priced accordingly.
