Summary: We installed this generator on my wife's flatty powered roadster to replace a "one-wire" GM alternator. She hated the look of the alternator sitting atop the flathead but for 14 years we tolerated it. Now the car has a much better original look of an old school hotrod but still has modern (...and even better) performance than before. It was a bit tricky to get our modified fan bracket to work correctly but that was just a matter of fabrication. It was a little bit expensive but well worth the cost!! Nice looking product.
