The 18k GOLD  symbols contrasts well against the silver and its natural patina. The geometric (Spirals) shape of the Brooch overall displays various dangle symbols including coral Mayan face with a mix of stones

It has a strong "C" Locking Clasp and the Pin Back is strong and will slide through thick material.  You don’t often find pre-Columbian culture inspired Jewelry with the quality displayed in this Piece!

The Rich Natural Patina of the Aged Silver is a Perfect Complement to the Shiny gold Detail elements. There are no faint Spots or Lapses in the Design of his high quality Brooch displays the skill of the Master Craftsman and Jewelry Artists.  Taxco silver jewelry production boomed during World War II. Because Europe was unavailable as a source of luxury goods during this time, many luxury retailers in the United States, including Marshall Fields, Bonwit Teller, Macy’s, Saks Fifth Avenue, Gump’s, Filene’s, Tiffany & Co. and Neiman Marcus, purchased fine silver jewelry from Taxco designers. Taxco became something like Paris in the 1920’s, with many notable visitors seeking out the town’s colonial charm, including George Gershwin, Mae West, Aldous Huxley, Dorothy Parker, Bette Davis, Paulette Goddard, Jack Palance, John Huston, the Vanderbilts, the Rockefellers and others.  Great addition to your collection ❤️
