This is an antique paperback book titled:
Early
Lessons in Flowers
Drawn on Stone
by J. Barney

The pages are all marked London. Printed & Published at Rowney & Forster's Lithographic Press, Feb 1 1822.

This small booklet cost 2 shillings and sixpence for plain, and 5 shillings for the coloured book. This one is simply plain black and white. Being No.1.

It has only 4 Plates in the book. So four pages of flowers only.

Only the aristocratic families would be able to buy a small drawing booklet like this. This one is in remarkably good condition compared to the other 3 I have just listed which came in with this one. The pages are simply " strung " together.

Please see close-up photographs provided for more details and visual confirmation of condition for yourself.
Condition report: The edges and corners are worn and discoloured, especially on the outer cover.
There is some staining on the back. Overall very good for the age of it.

It measures approx. 12 and 1/4 inches x 9 and 3/4 inches with 4 numbered plates inside.

These items are genuine and not reproductions and are often interesting to local social history groups or family researchers.

Postage policies:

I use the eBay Global Shipping Programme for most of my items as this allows me to send items internationally that I would normally only be able to offer to UK buyers. Items sent under this system are fully insured the shipping price also includes any customs duties.

I do NOT have any control over the shipping or customs prices as eBay themselves set these prices.

Combined postage for multiple items:

AUCTION ITEMS "Usually when items are shipped through our Global Shipping Program it is not possible to combine separate orders as each transaction is given a unique reference code which is needed by our shipping centre to process orders.

EBAY SHOP ITEMS However, it may be possible to get an automatic shipping discount with the Global Shipping Programme by adding all your items to the eBay shopping basket and then purchasing. The eBay shopping cart automatically estimates any discounts for you, combining items where possible.
However only these item must be in the cart at this time and will have to be added in and purchased within a certain timeframe. If you have any other items in your basket the system will be unable to combine the order."

If this automated system does not apply the postage discount for you, please send me an eBay message and I will do my best to try and combine the shipping costs for you.

To see ALL my other 7000+ items for sale, please click on VISIT SHOP or see other items. Strangely, both options seem to only give a limited view of what I have to offer, so to see everything I have available, click on Shop by Category which will give you a much better view.

Scale is usually an English 1 penny coin which is 20mm in diameter which is just short of 7/8ths of an inch in diameter, or a universal sized Coke can (330ml).

If you see A/F = a/f in the title or description it means "as found" condition which may have scuffs, scratches and damage. In relation to all my listings it does not mean " about fine ". I have used A/F  for " as found " for 45 years.
