This Mickey Mouse History Clock was a special prize from the 2008 Thanksgiving campaign run by Dai-ichi Life Insurance.
It was taken out of the box to be photographed and checked for operation, but had been stored for a long time before that.
The character part of the clock has a black part, which may be from the beginning or due to age-related deterioration.
