About the Author

Since 1979, he has been a curator at the Ota City Folk Museum, where he was involved in the "Kawase Tomoe Exhibition" (2013) and other exhibitions. His major publications include "Kokoro ni shimiru natsukashii nihongo no fukei: kindai no ukiyoe-shi, Takahashi Shotei no sekai" (Kokushokan Kanko) and "Bessatsu Taiyo Kawase Tomoei Ketteiban: Nihon no mensho wo tabisuru" (2017, Heibonsha).
