Mentor Studio 13x18cm is a folding bed FIELD camera. Postwar East German camera. Has been customized for standard 5x7" and 4x5" wooden backs. Revolving back, with lock for vertical or horizontal position. Movements are: front tilt, shift, swing and gear rise. Traditional "four-way" / "omni-directional" swing back movements.  22" bellows extension.  Weight is 13 lb. Without lenses. Camera is in Ex- or 7 of 10 cosmetic condition. Focal Plane Shutter DOES'T work property, the first curtains DOES'T OPEN "all the way". Camera needs shutter work, otherwise in working order. 

Comes with custom 4x5" and 5x7" Ground Glass WOODEN backs, (2) vintage plastic 5x7 and 4x5 Film Holders and (3) vintage Zeiss non-coated BARREL lenses in custom metal lens boards:

CZJ Tere-Tessar 40cm/6.3 #1407575, barrel lens with NO APERTURE blades

CZJ Tessar 21cm/4.5 #1533419, barrel lens with variable aperture

CZJ Apo-Germinar 180/9 #6259301, coated, East Germany copy/macro lens, with adjustible aperture

All lenses are in Ex or 8 of 10 condition with CLEAN non-coated glass.

The Mentor Studio 13x18cm is a folding bed camera. It has a double extension 22 inches bellows and a focal plane shutter for slow speeds. Camera has focal plane shutter on the rear. Fast speeds are: 1/30sec, 1/15 sec, 1/8 sec, flash sync (not tested ), B mode and Z mode. Slow speeds DO NOT WORK.    Camera has: front: rise , swing , tilt & shift. Rear: micro swing, tilt and extension bellows ( like a Linhof Technica ). Also drop bed. Ground glass orientation is changing by revolving mechanism.
