WWF Magazine has undergone several changes over the years. It was first called WWF Victory Magazine from its first issue to the third. Beginning with the third issue in April/May 1984, it was renamed World Wrestling Federation Magazine, or WWF Magazine for short, and featured newly crowned WWF Champion Hulk Hogan on the cover. It was a bi-monthly publication until June 1987, when it became a monthly staple for the WWF for the next decade. The magazine primarily featured biographies of wrestlers and their feuds, previews of upcoming events, editorials, and other content aimed at younger audiences. Occasionally, letters from fans commenting on wrestlers and angles were also published. On rare occasions, kayfabe was broken, such as when a wrestler died or the topic had significant interest among WWF fans. Examples of this were the 1990 parasailing accident that injured Brutus "the Barber" Beefcake and the 1992 divorce of Randy "Macho Man" Savage and Miss Elizabeth.
