Active Tests, also known as Actuator Tests, are bi-directional diagnostic tests on vehicle systems and components. The tests let you use the scanner temporarily activate or control a vehicle system or component, and when you exit the test, the system/component returns to normal operation. NT510 elite fits for Honda & Acura cannot only read your codes, but it can also actuate components, run system tests, program control modules. It allows you to use the scan tool temporarily activate or control a vehicle system or component.
Bi-directional Control:
NT510 Elite support bi-directional control over various car systems, sub-systems and components and perform active tests(function tests) like ABS brake bleeding, Motor Pump Test to determine the test integrity of the system or parts by reading the ECU data or by monitoring the operation of the actuators, such as switching a solenoid, relay, or switch, between two operating states.

Full OBDII Functions
- Reading Codes: Present some diagnostic trouble codes after scanning the vehicle.
- Resetting Codes: Clear the fault codes after doing the repair according to the prompt of the scanner.Resetting
- Live Data Stream: Show the information of continuous data stream from a vehicle in live graphic (waveform) display.
- Freeze Frame: Reads and displays live ECU/PCM data stream, plotting functions graphically and stores freeze frame data.
- On-Board Monitor Test: Check the certain vehicle conditions which are recorded by the on-board computer at the time the emission-related fault occurs.
- O-2 Sensor Test: Allows retrieval and viewing of O-2 sensor monitor test results for the most recently performed tests from the vehicle’s on-board computer. (Note: If the vehicle uses a controller area network (CAN) protocol to communicate, this function is not supported by vehicle)
- On-Board Monitor Test: Retrieves and displays test results for emission-related powertrain components and systems.
- Read Vehicle Information: Display the information such as VIN(Vehicle Identification Number), CID (Calibration ID) and CVN (Calibration verification number), etc.
- Component Test: Certain vehicle components can be actuated by commands sent from the scanner to test their operability

⚫Why nt510 elite diagnostic tool can’t READ OUT my VIN AUTOMATICALLY?
As a result of certain car manufacturer settings, some cars’ vin can’t be read automatically. You can type it in manually.
