After collecting pine needles, put them in a container where you will then pour hot water (boiled without boiling so as not to destroy the vitamins) over the pine needles.
Cover the container and leave the needles there for 10 minutes. Strain the mixture, and drink immediately.
Another way to make tea from pine needles is not to put in a jar of good water, cover with plastic wrap and expose it to the sun in the morning. Leave it there all day. You can dilute the tea you make this way with water, for a milder taste, and refrigerate it to keep.
