DESCRIPTION:

Vintage Baker, Knapp & Tubbs (a designer showcase subsidiary of Baker Furniture no longer in business) small tabletop jewelry, trinket or gentleman's chest of drawers made in Italy of patchwork burl walnut (?). Styled after 19th century designs, this elegant chest…could also be considered a salesman sample for a full-sized wardrobe. Plinth base. Inset burl randomly placed over the piece. Very well made with finished back. Maker bar-code on underside with "Made in Italy" stamp. 5 drawers and one door (interior cabinet doesn't show any signs that there used to be shelves). Brass drawer pulls. 

DIMENSIONS:

21.5" tall x 7" depth x 19.5" wide. Weighs almost 18 lbs.

CONDITION:

Very minor abrasions…some small dings which I believe is the intended style to make it look like a 19th century piece. Very good condition, ready to use.
