Top opening has a diameter of 5 1/2 inches measured at the outter rim. Bottom reads "FREEZER MICROWAVE DISHWASHER OVEN SAFE LONGABERGER POTTERY Made In USA" in green. This beautiful bowl has no chips or cracks. In new like condition. Box has very little wear.
