Description

Very good condition.

size 18.5×25cm

A collection of photographs by Dutch photographer Erik van der Weijde of architecture by Brazilian architect Oscar Niemeyer. In the 1950s, Niemeyer helped design a major building in his country's capital, Brasilia, and built a creative city on desolate land. In 1987, Brasilia was declared a World Heritage Site. Weide's photographs are not human, and the design, which features the harmony of the architecture's organic and dynamic curves and modernist geometry, makes the book stand out in an inorganic urban landscape. Full page monochrome.
