This is a rare find, a 14 Karat Waterman Pen with an ornately decorated. It measures 5 1/4 inches long, closed. At its thickest, it is approximately 3/8th's of an inch thick, or 1 centimeter. It is overall in excellent condition but the is a slight flattening of the barrel of the top. I have tred to take various pictures of this in different ways. There is no kinks or physical marks associated with this. It can be fixed by a jeweler or a silversmith. I discounted this pen to allow for the repair. What I believe happened is someone squeezed it to hard to try to get the top off. Years ago, when my machinist friend and customer was alive, he could have run a cylinder down this and had it back to shape. i am assuming a competent silver or goldsmith could gently bring it to round.
I have not tried to use it or clean it. The top unscrews from the barrel.
