Here is a Large, Spectacular Royal Copenhagen Art Nouveau UNIQUE Floor Vase by Catherine Zernichow

This is a wonderful and rare piece of Danish Art Nouveau porcelain.

This is an incredible and rare piece of Danish Art Nouveau art pottery porcelain. It is a unique (one of a kind) work of the Danish porcelain painter and artist Catherine Zernichow (1864-1942). The piece bears her signature "C ZERNICHOW" near the bottom and "CZ" on the base, along with its date of production "3/20/1917" for March 20th 1917. The piece is marked as factory first quality.

The piece is decorated with exquisite underglaze painting, showing the flowering branches of a bush or tree, perhaps white magnolia flowers, along with two butterflies against a wonderful textured light blue background.

The piece measures approximately 17 1/2 inches tall, or ~44.5 cm. It is a large and heavy piece, weighing over 12lbs!

The piece is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks or repair. No glaring issues. There are some normal small discrete surface glaze irregularities from factory production, see detailed photos. No other apparent issues or concerns.

It is a very special and unique piece that deserves its place in your collection!
