Ossur Iceross Dermo Prosthetic Liner With Seal Conical Transfemoral  25/3

 

Ossur Dermo liners are made of soft white silicone inside and have a cloth cover over the outside. The Dermo liner is turned inside out and rolled up on the skin and once applied inserted into the prosthesis. The silicone fits over the skin, it provides an airtight seal holding it in place against the skin. Once the liner is applied the patient slides their residual limb and liner inside the prosthesis and the liner holds itself into the bottom of the socket with suction thus holding the liner and prosthesis in place. The soft silicone also cushions the skin to decrease irritation.

Dermo liners are designed for patients with the following:

 

• Vascular Compromise

• Diabetic Condition

• Sensitive Skin

 

Different suction mechanisms are available on the bottom portion of the socket that allows the liner to stay in place on the bottom of the prosthesis.
