The Comfort liner is made with firm semi-transparent silicone. It is turned inside out and rolled up on the skin and once applied, inserted into the prosthesis. The silicone lays over the skin and cushions the residual limb within the prosthesis. This liner is used by the prosthetist for casting / obtaining the shape of the prosthetic socket.
